I was treated by Mr Stuart Robertson, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon. From my first meeting to my final one he was so professional. He explained everything well and happily answered questions ensuring I understood everything. I was treated with upmost dignity and respect. As did the wonderful breast care nurses their support was invaluable and made what could have been a very stressful time less so.
All the support reams I met during the run up to the operation were fantastic, so reassuring and supportive . Thank you University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire
The staff were friendly enough. They were very caring and had the passion in what they were doing.
A friend of mine is in the hospital now. I am posting for her.
She went to A&E and saw a dr who decide she needed to stay in. She was moved to ward. But told she would be moved to ward 42. She was told as soon as there was a bed she would be moved. She came in with her medication. This was passed to the nurse who put it safe. When it came to time for her medication they could not find it so she was given some from the drugs trolly but they did not know her dose.
She was waiting for the move that happen during Saturday night. He medication did not arrive with her as it was lost again. ( 2 nd) time in 3 days. She’s on this ward since Saturday and she has just been told that her medication has been found. She has also been in the hospital and nothing has been done for her.
Please if you need to come to this hospital don’t bring a full month of medication as you may never see it again.
Keep all of your property safe your self
I'd like to thank all the staff who took care of my wife who sadly passed away on
1/12/20, they did all they could and took good care of her.
I can't fault them due to the pressure they were under.
Thank you janet Taylor's husband alan.
Always have been treated with utmost respect and dignity and have been highly satisfied with the way the staff have always treated me.
How privileged I feel to have been treated by Professor Poole. Professional, Reassuring and Respectful..... he literally saved my life...
We recently underwent an operation at the university Coventry hospital during the pandemic and can’t fault the care we received on the children’s ward. The nurses were lovely.
The Hospital is of the highest quality and the staff places a premium on looking after the patient.
The one thing I would like to say is that there is a lack of seating for patients and visitors in the long corridors of the hospital. I have spent many hours there and have seen many sick patients struggling up and down the corridors when they could really do with a seat to rest on, myself included as I have a back problem and don't like standing for too long. I have visited many other hospitals not as modern, and am shocked by the lack of seating. They could easily install some flip down seats.
I would also like to see more seating outside for people. When your ill and it's a nice day it's much better if you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
I would not recommend this hospital to anyone considering fertility treatment. Most disappointing experience. This was particularly made difficult by being treated with rudeness and very little respect after the crucial procedure.
After spending large sum of money this is not how any patient should be treated. It is truly shocking that at this day and age someone could truly go out of their way to be so rude and difficult and not be penalised for this behaviour.
